I need to make a round trip flight between Boston MA and Charlotte NC this month- anyone know which airline has the cheapest fare?

You should check all airlines leaving Boston for sales. Without a sale, Airtran is generally cheapest.

I did a search on www.cheapoair.com and the cheapest flight is $148.00, with the departing airline being Continental Airlines and the returning airline being AirTran. I searched using a random date though, so maybe another date would have a cheaper fare.

Any idea how long a flight from Pittsburgh PA to Charlotte NC would be?
My Grandmother's 15 year old Bichon Frise just died a week ago, she lives alone and has been very lonely without him and so I've talked with her and I've decided that I will buy her a new puppy for Christmas. We've been looking and we've found one that she has fallen in love with, but the puppy is in Pennsylvania. I did a check on mapquest and it would take us a little over 9 hours to drive there and that's just not going to be possible for us not to mention that I think a drive that long would really stress the puppy out even more than it's already going to be going into a new home. So if we get this puppy we will have to have it shipped. The breeders will most likely be shipping from Pittsburgh and we would be picking the puppy up in Charlotte NC so I'm just wondering if anyone has any idea how long a flight like that would be? I'm just trying to figure out what's going to be the best option for the puppy. Thanks!

1 hour 30 mins is the average flight time from Pittsburgh to Charlotte. + About 30 mins of loading/unloading. Thats nothing for a dog, I took mine overseas about 3 times in 8 hour flights.. but they were on meds lol. Much faster than driving obviously.. ;P

Online travel site shows the shortest flight from Pittsburgh to Charlotte is one hour, thirty eight minutes. That's a non stop. Everything grows from there according to what you want to do. A one stop flight is going to be longer but cheaper.

I live in Greensboro and it seems like all flights out of here are messed up. Especially that 20 minute flight to Charlotte. You can drive faster than it takes to board and de-board. What were you doing here?

Will US Airways new baggage policy affect me?
I am traveling from Charlotte to Frankfurt, Germany. I will have a stopover at Philadelphia and I am traveling after May 5. Now, can I have a second checked in bag free on my flight from Charlotte to Philly? I made one single reservation for my flights. Can someone who knows better tell me? I asked the US airways toll free but they don't seem to understand my case, their website also does not make this point clear.
