What should i do to cure boredom on flights? 10 points!?
Ok, so i'm moving to Hawaii in December and there will possibly be a nonstop flight from charlotte (not my hometown), NC to Oahu, Hawaii. That will be over a 12 hour flight! My main concern is that i will be bored out of my mind. Only one my friends has been on a plane trip even CLOSE to that long, so i will be needing some more advanced help. I'm older than 10, which is all i can say, so i need more mature answers. I do have an ipod, but it doesn't have very good battery. Please help!!!

Read a glossy magazine with interesting articles in. The reason that I say glossy is because newspaper and books have china clay in the surface and over the time you may develop nose or eye problems. You may like to write poetry. Now there's a thing.

hey I have to do the same thing tomorrow I'm going from Chicago to Tokyo. Im 14 so I probably can relate to you pretty well What airline are you going on? sometimes they have movies you can watch if not get a movie on you ipod movies make the time fly also sleeping may be hard but once your asleep time passes you can also take madlibs which are fun or take magazines (gossip and stuff) or a good book and I suggest you take your own food like instant cup noodles and have them add hot water because I hate airplane food Hope this helps this is what I do :)

I totally understand, i went to New Zealand from London and it was about 24 hours total flying time!!! I almost went crazy but here are some things to do: *Ipod of course *Some airlines have movies, music and games on a little screen in front of your seat. *Take a portable DVD player if you have one and/or a nintendo. *Eat! *Walk up and down the plane (good for preventing DVTs) *Take a book AND magazines *Maybe take some playing cards *Do any homework you might have or get a puzzle book thing *Drink plenty of water! *Look out of the window Sleeping is a good idea but i find it really hard to sleep on a plane. If you can, then it will really help to pass the time. Make sure you have eyeshades and a small pillow or get a neck cushion. Good luck and have a safe trip!

If you like that sort of thing, pick up some origami paper and bring it with you. If you like puzzles, you could try Sudoku, Kenken, or logic puzzles. Often, larger planes have screens behind every headrest, so you can watch TV or a movie. Sometimes the movies are free, and sometimes you have to pay by credit card. You could read, draw, etc.
