What's a good price for a flight from Charlotte NC to Detroit MI?
I want to fly from Charlotte, North Carolina to Detroit, Michigan this July and I was wondering what a good price for a round trip ticket would be, since I've never bought an airline ticket. Like, how do you get the lowest possible price? Are there any secrets?

I've booked that same flight a few times. As far as price?? It's been about a year, but I'm thinking you're going to be in the $300 range for roundtrip. I have found that it is cheaper sometimes to fly out of Greensboro, or Raleigh/Durham, but Raleigh is a little too far to drive. First go to Yahoo Travel and find the better deals and take note of them: Then Go directly to the airlines website: i.e. www.southwest.com or www.nwa.com so that you can avoid paying the extra fees that the agencies tack on. oh and if your final destination is North of Detroit (oakland or macomb counties) then you might consider flying into Flint, MI airport!! Price line says that if you depart On July 1st and return on the 5th you will pay anywhere from 319-381.
