what's the procedure when connecting flights in newark?
I'm flying tonight with Elal flight from Israel to Newark airport, and 3 hours later continue with connect flight to Charlotte (US Airways). It's the first time I'm flying indirectly. What happens in Newark? What exactly do I do when I arrive? What happens to my luggage? I need to pick it up? Re-check it later with US-Air?

Arrive in EWR. Go through Immigration, then get your luggage, then go through Customs. Then, drop your bag with US Air, then proceed to your next flight.
