how is the food on us airways and is it expensive?
flying to san juan and won't have enough time between connections to get something to eat. meals will be available on the long flight from charlotte to san juan but i've never eaten airline food and never heard anything good about it. just wondering if anyone out there has been on us air lately and tried the food and what it cost. thanks for any input.

There is no cost separate from your ticket for airline food. Some people like the airline food but I think most people don't. The few times I've had it haven't been good. It comes in little microwave type dishes and is reheated on the plane. If possible I would call the airline ahead of time and tell them you are a vegetarian. That way you get fresh food. I did this after someone told me about it and it was much better.

this might be consider a domestic flight and usually you have to buy food (its not included with the ticket) i had a sandwih when i flew them from Lax to Charolotte it was pretty good
