I am on a flight Thursday to Charlotte NC. I need to know what I can take such as my Insulin

I am on a flight Thursday to Charlotte NC. I need to know what I can take such as my Insulin.?
What I cannot take on my flight. Can it be put in my shipped luggage such as my insulin needles? What other things are not allowed to be carried on? Can I take a snack in case I need it because of low sugar count? Is makeup not allowed?

Check with the airline that you are using, that would be the best help. Prolly be able to find it online and read the do's and dont's. Good Luck, and enjoy your flight.
2 :
call the airline to be sure but i know when i fly I needed a written prescription from my doctor for needles, lancets, and insulin in my possesion at checkin.
3 :
yes, you can take your insulin on board as well as a snack. just not a "liquid" snack. check with the airline as they are continually changing what will be and not be allowed on board. Have fun!!
4 :
Insulin is allowed, makeup is not. http://www.airsafe.com/danger.htm < this site provides an updated list of what you can and cannot bring on an airplane.
5 :
Diabetics can take insulin and needles on board. Depending on airline policy you may be able to keep it on your person, or it may be held by cabin crew available upon request - but in either case you don't have to check it. I'd mention it on check-in tho, they may give you some special paperwork to show to security check, which will make your life easier. Snack is fine, make-up isn't allowed.
6 :
call the airport and ask them iam sure they will help you out
7 :
You cannot bring any liquids through the security checkpoints, they must be checked in your baggage. The posts above say that insulin is and exception. You can bring a snack if it's not liquid. Sandwiches, chips, hard candies are fine. You will be able to buy a drink to bring on the plane once you make it through security.

Hun, unless someone miraculously happens to be flying the same flight as you, I really don't think you're gonna find some one on Yahoo!Answers.
2 :
This reminds me of when someone says "I'm from New York," and someone else says "Oh, do you know Bill?" In other words, the chances of finding this guy are essentially nil.
3 :
You blew your chance I am based out of CLT - its our largest hub. Do you realize how many flights go thru here on a daily basis?
4 :
you might want to try Craigslist.com missed encounters or something.. good luck..

Why has the direct flight from Charlotte to the Turks and Caicos beome so darned expensive!?
We have been three previous times. Have already rented a large house and are taking a group of 12 down in Feb of 08. Never paid more than about 600 round trip. Price now is 1400. Of course "frequent flier miles blacked out" Any help appreciated

It's called fuel!!!
2 :
Could it be the cost of fuel?
3 :
Probably aren't enuf people choosing to buy tickets for that route and fuel for planes is more than likely higher than gasoline...which would put the price of a filled tank for a plane close to, if not more than $500!
