On the 15th, you Will be switching planes in charlotte, nc. You MIGHT not make your connecting flight, because of the time difference between New Orleans and charlotte. (11am in NO, is 12 in nc... plus 1h53m for travel = landing time being 2:00ish, giving you VERY little time to get to your next flight before boarding) On the 19th, you will be switching planes in charlotte again, with a layover of about 45minutes. call your airline to ask if the time difference will be an issue and if it is... what can they do about it. Where could I find the least expensive last minute plane tickets from SanFrancisco to Charolotte, north carolina? i have a funeral to attend ..i need to fly tonight or early tommrrow NOVEMBER 10-11 any websites to find great deals on a last minute booking where I can find a better deal other than expediaor orbitz

Also, Northwest has a flight departing San Jose at 12:10 today (Nov 11) getting you to Charlotte by 10:16 p.m. for $314 one-way. You have more options out of SFO, all starting around $340, but all connecting. A nonstop flight will cost $1000+ today for this itinerary. However, if you can travel with carry-on only, and don't plan to fly USAir again for some years, you could purchase a flight to Raleigh (RDU) which actually connects at Charlotte. This is another crazy airfare pricing game that doesn't seem to make any sense, but airlines do it for variety of reasons. It's $249 one-way if you book SFO-RDU one-way and just hop off at Charlotte. This flight leaves at 9 a.m. from SFO today, arrives CLT at 4:47 p.m. It's technically against the rules (called "hidden city ticketing") to hop off, that's why I say carry-on bag only, and no plans to fly USAir again for some years, and only on a one-way ticket :)
