southwest has the cheapest airfares. It is usually much, much better to go to the direct southwest site, and then look at flights. Dont waste your time goin to expedia or any of those. But this is just from my very recent experience. I hope this helped.

Flight time

Flight time?
Does anyone know how long the flight is from Charlotte, NC (Charlotte Douglass Airport) to Antigua? I wasn't sure how long the actual in-air flight time is? Thanks! It's a direct flight from Charlotte to Antigua. I wasn't able to find anything on the US Airways site about flight distances?? Any other ideas...

if you look up the flight on the air lines web site, it well say.
2 :
3 hours

It all depends on your flight schedule; how many stops are you making. Normally with just one stop, usually at San Juan (PR) you can get to Antigua in as little as 7 hours or with two stops, you can expect travel time in excess of 12 1/2 hours. Please call your airline directly and ask them about your specific flight to see how long will your actual travel time be. Have a safe and pleasant flight.

I got this off the US Airways sight. Non Stop it takes about 4 hours and 8 mins to Antigua from Charlotte and it takes about 4 hours and 26 mins on the return. Pretty much the same as flying across country, or something like CLT-LAX. The flight times are posted on the far right of the fares on US Airways under the "Details/Time" tab.

Can a 15 year old travel alone on an international flight

Can a 15 year old travel alone on an international flight?
This summer my parents are planning to send me to Bosnia alone for a month as most of my family is over there. We are just unsure if I can travel alone internationally. The flight would go something along the lines of: Charlotte to Munich (Lufthansa) Munich to Sarajevo (Lufthansa) Also where can we get a parental consent form?

I'm a bit younger. And I'm aloud to travel alone on international flight. Maybe go with a flight attendant. They'll guide you on the plane, and to your next flight. It might cost a bit more though. Otherwise maybe try checking with the airlines because some let you and some don't unless your over 18 years old.

i think u can.. jus ask the airline for information

You should be able to travel alone on an international flight you would just have to travel as an unaccompanied minor. You would be looked after by people while you are at your stop overs. Just let the airline your are traveling with your age and they will do the rest and make sure that your are looked after.

No because you bought a ticket to Columbia. You can call US and see what the fee is to chang it may be worth it to pay. Or you can ship your bag home UPS and not checkl any bag at all, and just eave when you get to CLT

Great Question -- just call or email your airline to see what they say, also you could get your flight changed or always use the trusty UPS and Fed Ex -- if you are 1st Class or are on a Freakwent Flyer program their is a chance your fees COULD be waived or they could let you get your baggage however dont count on it -- if nessisary threten to never fly with them again...!! LOL -- Hope this works for you!! :}.

It depends on if you're going back CAE-CLT-PHL or not. You might be allowed to pick up your bags in CLT, however if this is the outbound portion of a roundtrip ticket PHL-CLT-CAE-CLT-PHL, the instant you don't show up for the CLT-CAE, they will automatically cancel the rest of your trip, i.e. the CAE-CLT and the CLT-PHL flights. But if it's a one-way trip, if the agent is nice, he/she may allow you to check your bag only to CLT. Technically this is against many airline's rules, but the odds of them coming after your for the price difference is pretty low. I myself have done this once - we had tickets CDG-ZRH-BOM, BOM-ZRH-CDG. On the way back, we told the agent in Bombay that we wanted to just get off in Zurich and she had no problem with that.
