when buying a airline ticket on the internet.

when buying a airline ticket on the internet.....???
i got a airline ticket on travelocity.com. i was looking for a flight nonstop from charlotte, nc to boston, ma. but i couldn't find one. I found one but it stops in baltimore. and i saw others that said CHANGE PLANES.. My question is that if it said STOP is just a stop..or do i still need to change the plane??

If it says change planes, then and only then will you change planes. If it says stop it means just stop. It's just to refuel the plane and such.

you don't need to change planes but you will probably have to deplane and get back on with some new people getting on at baltimore. it just means the two legs have the same flight number. By the way, i don't know if you already tried this, but i'd have gone directly to the usairways website. charlotte is one of usair's hubs, and they do have nonstops to boston.

SHOULD I CHANGE MY CONNECTOR FLIGHT TO MYRTLE ON SATURDAY MORNING

SHOULD I CHANGE MY CONNECTOR FLIGHT TO MYRTLE ON SATURDAY MORNING?
Right now, with Hanna spinning around out there, I'm considering changing my airline reservations. Right now I'm connecting through Washington DC on Saturday morning (will the hurricane detain me there?) or should I change my reservations and connect through Charlotte? (more inland .. and further south)? I hate the idea of being stuck in the airport but the question is, which one would be the better of the two evils? Any ideas? I'm flying United Airlines but the Charlotte connector is a USAir flight.

Question about a connecting flight

Question about a connecting flight.?
I'm flying back from St. Maarten to New Orleans next month. However, US Air wants a staggering amount of money for the tickets. They have a connection through Charlotte and only that one flight a day. I was looking on JetBlue's website and they have a flight through JFK that I can take to catch up with a late night New Orleans flight. However, the JetBlue flights are what the agent said a "published connection." If I make two one way listings, I still would come out cheaper on JetBlue. I would have an hour to make that connection in JFK. Is it a good idea? Would I have enough time with an hour?

Take the published connection. JetBlue is an awesome airline, however, you will be landing in terminal 4 in JFK. From there you would have to go through customs control and then baggage claim. After that, you would have to take the air train in JFK to their new terminal 5 and then check in for your domestic flight to New Orleans. You would miss that connecting flight and you would be stuck in New York for the night. Just take the US Air flight. If it's a published connection, then it gets you in to CLT with ample time to make all necessary connections. Also one more note I'd like to point out about taking a non-published connection is that your bags are not promised to follow you if you try to check them all the way from SXM-MSY

No because if you dont make the 22nd flight, you are out of luck. If it was a normal connection and you miss it, the airline will rebook you. Or---Maybe book the two seperate flights 24 hours apart and use the savings for a free day in NY. And give yourself a 24 hour extension on the vacation. Will that work?

Absolutely, as long as you can save money and get to your destination within reasonable time, you should do it. It's a much better option than U.S Airways which is, I don't know why, a very expensive airline.

I suggest you go online and try www.hotwire.com. The fare is really affordable but it can't be change or cancel with a refund nor a credit for another flight.
2 :
Southwest usually has the lowest rates compared to other airlines. I would suggest calling them directly. You can check websites that offer lower rates, but I have had several experiences where when calling the airline they would give cheaper prices than the online so-called "low airfare finders"
3 :
Unfortunately, Southwest serve neither Charlotte or Cancun. Try http://www.farecompare.com/search/year.html?departure=CLT&destination=CUN&p=1 and http://www.cheapflights.com/flights/Cancun/Charlotte-Douglas-Intl/
4 :
Try the following: "Amazing Tours and Travel" It is part of the YTB travel network. I use it all the time because of the great deals. Good luck and have a great day.

You can try cheapoair.com you might land up with some real cheap fares.... They also comes with the Low Fare Guarantee All the best... pal
